The Spotted lanternfly impacts the plants by sucking sap from the stems and trunks of a wide variety of plants. For the Spotted lanternfly to feed they have to pierce the bark of the tree, which harms the trunk and it allows plant pathogens to infect the tree. Cambistat is a soil applied product that is absorbed through the roots.
